In 1996, at Atlanta Christian Church there were beautiful, hand-crafted, fabric, banner stands in the sanctuary. These themed banners included Revival Fire, Winning Souls, Pastor/Shepherd, Warfare, and many more. The Pastoral banner consistently drew me into intercession. Several years later, in 1999 we relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina. God increased the burden for pastors as intercession continued.

It broke my heart reading this text in Jeremiah 23: 1-4
"Woe to the shepherds who destroy and scatter the sheep of My pasture!" says the the LORD. Therefore thus says the LORD God of Israel against the shepherds who feed My people: "You have scattered My flock, driven them away, and not attended to them. Behold, I will attend to you for the evil of your doings" says the LORD. "But I will gather the remnant of My flock out of all countries where I have driven them, and bring them back to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase. "I will set up shepherds over them who will feed them; and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, nor shall they be lacking, says the LORD.

From 1999 to present, the care and concern for pastors prevailed; the intercession and prayers for pastors will probably never be far from my heart. There are other prophets including Ezekiel (ch. 34) who have warned pastors to take care of God's sheep by caring and feeding them properly.

Oftentimes pastors lose their way or get off track. Circumstances, work-life balance, burn-out, emotional and physical health, or situations can cause one to take the wrong path. In fact, God said to me, "Many organizations are on the wrong path, Kim. Your leadership and expertise provides another path which will shift or catapult them onto the right path."

Hence the name Pathways of Righteousness was born to help pastors get on the right track laid out from the beginning via the platforms of coaching and consulting.

October 21, 2025 marks a wonderful 40 years of marriage to Alvin Griggs! Our daughters: Shantil, Nekia, and Tiffany bring much joy to our lives. From our children, five grandchildren emerged: Kendrick, Micah, Micaiah (Joshua), Ailayah, and Sean took our hearts; notwithstanding, Joshua and Micaiah delivered Baby Josiah on October 28, 2024. Josiah has captured our hearts as we cuddle with him and enjoy his essence.

Kim Griggs, is a licensed minister and has served God and His people for over 30 years in America! Kim, is an emerging Doctor of Strategic Leadership from Regent University is sent by God on a mission to help leaders by implementing perpetual pathways to transform leadership. She also earned a Master's in Organizational Leadership from Regent University in 2020. Her undergraduate studies earned her a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Point University (formerly Atlanta Christian College) in 1997. She is affiliated with Christian Coaching Network International and in the process of certification.
